Why don’t we bring out the soft sweet colours?

Salmon, Pink and earth colours would be nice.  Add a little lace for a touch of elegance. Or a touch of blue for contrast.

Beautiful.

While accessories are a must, you can get away with an accent of cream or white. You can never go wrong with gold. So what do you think?

Les couleurs saumon, rose et terre seraient bien, non. Ajoutez un peu de dentelle pour une touche d’élégance. Nous pourrions ajouter une touche de bleu pour le contraste.

Et les accessoires sont toujours nécessaires. On s’en tirer avec un accent de crème ou de blanc. Et l’or est toujours bien. Alors qu’est-ce que tu en penses?

Portland

Thinking of Portland

I admit it. I have a bias. If you have to be in North America. Portland Is a place you have to check out. Not quite country not quite city but very very lovely.

Je l’admets. J’ai un parti pris pour les vieilles villes. Si vous devez voyager en Amérique du Nord. Portland est un endroit à visiter. Pas tout à fait la campagne, pas tout à fait la ville mais très très belle.

Lo admito. Tengo un sesgo por las ciudades antiguas. Si tienes que viajar a América del Norte. Portland es un lugar que tienes que visitar. No totalmente un país, no totalmente una ciudad, pero muy, muy encantador.

Mo lati jẹri. Mo ni ifẹ fun awọn ilu agba ju ilu tuntun lọ. Ti o ba n lati ṣe irin-ajo lọ si Ilu America. Portland jẹ aaye ti o ni lati bewo. Kii ṣe ilu giga, kii ṣe ilu kekere ṣugbọn o lẹwa pupọ..

Dreaming of those old cities

When it gets close to Christmas I think of  families coming together. The changing of seasons and just how quickly the year went by. You stand in your home and look out thinking more of this probably just like everybody else, but no two people are the same. Some people are looking at scenes like this still stressed about what is coming next. So remember to take the time to enjoy those quiet moments. Whether or not you are in an old quaint city.

(Grunt) oh and minion Bob says hi too.

A crazy circus

I don’t know why I drew this. I just had an image of a crazy circus. A circus captures our imagination doesn’t it? A place where AMAZING things happen. The strong man, the lion tamer, the creepy-always happy clowns. Even though I’ve seen so many books with interesting circus themes they never seem to capture the way I feel about circuses.
Sigh! I guess it’s just something you have to experience instead of read or watch in a movie.
Well here is my circus. A special place you can only find under my magic tent. If you step outside it though…. Well I can’t guarantee what you will find. 😈

Moonrise in Prague

While I am loving this picture on its own. Seriously what could I say to top that. Prague boasts a lot more. Like the gargoyles and old world charm. There is quite a bit of that going on here but Prague is very much a modern city.
The Astronomical Clock, Staré Mêstro, Cross Club (Art Bar) and Prague Castle just being some of the stops you just have to make.

Oh and when you’re done hitting those cobbled streets make sure you get a pint of their famous brewed ale.
