When I was looking at the 360 building I was hoping that someone had done something similar. So we could take a look inside and see what it would really be like to live there and viola! (yes i say that sometimes). I found Habitat 67.
This is interesting because it started out as a students thesis back in 1961. With some support from the Canadian government, some readjustments to the original design and I am sure some serious negotiations, Moshe Sofdie got to see Habitat 67 built. From what i’ve learned it is easier to get in to see the Pope than get a free apartment there…Okay I am exaggerating a little bit but it seems the residents just move around within the complex and never move out. That means this must not only be a great structure of buildings but a great community of people
